About the Author
Melanie Wilson is currently a senior at the University of Hartford where she is a double major in Rhetoric & Professional Writing and Psychology. She is also a Division 1 student athlete on both the cross country and track and field teams. This essay was written for the course Foundations of Rhetorical Theory.
