About the Authors

Deborah Balzhiser is an Associate Professor of English at Texas State University. She has previously served as the director of the Writing Center, and she commonly teaches courses such as Rhetorical theory, Studies in English Language and Linguistics, Principles of Technical Communication, Digital Literacies, Computers and Writing, and Technical Writing.

Rebecca Jackson Rebecca Jackson is an emerita professor of English at Texas State University, where she founded the MA program in Rhetoric and Composition (2006) and directed the program until 2020.
