Riya Mehta grew up in St. Louis and is entering her final year of medical school in the BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is passionate about academic medicine, healthcare advocacy, and health equity, with particular interests in the intersection of public health and systemic disparities in care.
