About the AuthorTravis Daniel Griffin attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology and graduated with a B.S. in Technical Communication in May of 2013. Prior to receiving his degree, Mr. Griffin spent ten years working in an international company, addressing the inherent challenges associated with working with multiple cultures. After receiving his degree, Mr. Griffin and his wife moved to Austin, Texas, where he accepted employment h a growing social media management software company. Test Page – Word Count 484 What is the SRS? Who and How and What: A symposium is a conference of peers and related professionals to discuss particular and shared subjects of interest. New Mexico Tech students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels have the privilege of voluntarily submitting either: An Extended Abstract and an Oral Presentation Of research or design projects. The audience is made up of a wide variety of esteemed professionals. The professionals come from a variety of different technical backgrounds. It is our honor to host professionals from New Mexico Tech and from many other successful backgrounds. Because of this, we kindly request that your abstract and presentation be written in a way that would appeal to everyone in the audience.
And Why:

The symposium offers the opportunity to display or present your research with dignity to respected researchers and engineers. -Communicate your research or design to researchers and professionals from other fields of study. The variety of our audience will allow presenters a unique opportunity to share knowledge in many disciplines. And When: The symposium will be on Friday, April 5, 2013. We hope you will show us the honor by being a part of the SRS. Presentations will only be made by our respected New Mexico Tech students. However, attending the symposium is open to anyone.
